  1. My archival website,, is launching today. I’m letting you know, because you might find it a useful resource.

The website celebrates my retirement as a publicly gay Australian writer for kids and young adults. I’ve written three original articles for the site – an annotated booklist of the 134 Australian kids’ books with LGBQ characters published between 1985 and 2015; an account of being the first publicly gay writer for younger readers in Australia and a general overview of my writing career. The website also includes a complete list of my publications from 1975 to 2007; free ebooks of my out of print novels for kids and young adults, including 11 novels with LGBQ characters, and some previously published articles by me and other people.

    All the best,
